Global Impact Volunteers

Volunteers with a heart to serve with the Happy Hearts Fund can choose one of the following options

1. Program Core Group: Volunteers in this group focus on serving one of HHF's international programs on an ongoing basis. Together, the group leads the efforts with the program through serving behind the scenes. Volunteer opportunities develop as the vision progresses and include (but are not limited to) monitoring the progress of the HHF outreach volunteers and translating the information into statistics, articles, photo and video libraries, and project fundraisers.
2. Mission "Away Team" Members: Volunteers in this group serve one on one during a seven to ten day trip at one of HHF's international programs. The type of work and roles available to volunteers on the team are determined by the type of project to be completed. On average, there are ten members per team and they can include individuals, groups, and families. Projects can include but are not limited to carpentry work, school programs, and sports activities.
3. Mission "Home Team" Members: Volunteers in this group serve behind the scenes, helping the "Away Teams" in their preparations for the trip. Opportunities to serve include fundraising for team members and project expenses, maintaining a daily blog that reflects the progress of the team from preparation through completion of the mission, and hosting team get-togethers.
