Dear Friends,

On December 26, 2004, nearly 300,000 people lost their lives in the Tsunami. I was fortunate to have a family and home to return to, many lost their homes and families. Even now it is difficult to comprehend how so many lives in so many countries could be swept away so quickly. The horrific images that I witnessed personally and that you saw in the media will vividly remain in my mind forever.

In the days following the tragedy people came together in an effort to help. Individuals, countries, the whole world was suddenly asking, "How can I help? What can we do?" Because I received a second chance at life, and more opportunities to help I took action, especially for the children of this disaster. I quickly realized that the help I could provide on my own was limited. I established Happy Hearts Fund, a U.S. non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, in hopes of uniting people in my effort. I feel so blessed to have received your support.
We started in tsunami-affected areas, supporting the building of primary schools, kindergartens, day cares, medical centers, computer labs, psycho-social programs, and other forms of relief.

The Mission of Happy Hearts Fund is to improve children's lives through education, sustainability, and technology.

Happy Hearts Fund has expanded to help the little ones in need all over the world, establishing a presence in Cambodia, Congo, Czech Republic, Haiti, India, Indonesia, New Orleans, Pakistan, Peru, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Vietnam, and we have plans to help in more countries!
We believe that each child, regardless of where they live, deserves a safe and happy life. Don't you agree?
The need not only remains, but continues to grow, and the Happy Hearts Fund goal is to provide the care the children of the world require. This is possible only with the support of people with loving hearts, like you. It is amazing to see that you are continuing to care so much about the future of these children. Please accept my deepest thanks for your generosity and compassion. I am honored by the trust and support you have given me and to Happy Hearts Fund. We will continue to ensure that 100% of your donation goes straight to the programs for the children.
